Process

'Process' is a collection of portrait paintings by Jemima Spence, with a look at the physical spaces and creative processes which underpins her work. The paintings are presented alongside a collection of skateboards and art from 4th Skateboards.

Jemima is a figurative painter living and working in Leeds. She works mainly in oils and regularly takes on commissions. She likes to experiment with different mediums and styles including recent large scale mural work, something she hopes to do more of in the future. She has been a studio holder at Assembly House since 2022 and many of the people she’s met here feature in these portraits.
